Looking Towards February
Happy February, everyone!
Things finally feel like they're falling into place. Now that my second LSAT is over with, I get to begin the more fun parts of applying to law school: looking for apartments, finding roommates, meeting classmates, and, before I get too far ahead of myself, being accepted to law school and choosing where to attend.
Here's a quick recap of my goals for January:
- Do yoga every single day of the month (check!)
- Get at least a 160 on the LSAT (I'll find out on February 15!)
- Find some freelance editing/writing jobs to earn extra money (check!)
- Create a better self care routine and stick to it (check!)
- Create more gratitude lists in my journal (not quite--focused more on yoga than journaling this month)
- Finish all my applications for law school (check--just waiting for my second LSAT score and one more letter of recommendation)

February Goals
Like I mentioned above, life seems to be falling into place and into a steady rhythm. It's filled with lots of writing, lots of working, and, most unfortunately, lots of waiting.
Here are my goals for February:
- Get at least a 160 on the LSAT
- Spend more time on organizing my planner each week
- Socialize more (especially since the excuse of studying is out of the picture now!)
- Reach 400 followers on Instagram
- Increase my email newsletter list (P.S., you should subscribe!)
February Favorites
HARPER+LEE Coffee-Vanilla Body Scrub
In case you don't know already, I am OBSESSED with coffee. I'm one of those people whose day just doesn't feel right if I don't start it with a good ol' cup of joe. Therefore, I am in love with this coffee scrub. The coffee and vanilla scents combined smell ah-mazing and it's such an energizing way to end my morning showers.
"Peachy" Bath Bomb
One of my favorite ways to relax is sitting in a nice, warm bath, so, naturally, that was the way I spent part of the Friday before the January 2019 LSAT, along with a bath bomb. Peach is one of my favorite scents, so I was drawn to this one while perusing Lush the other day. It made skin smell so yummy and the bath water was filled with gorgeous shades of pink.
"Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment" Bath Oil
In addition to the "Peachy" bath bomb, I also used this awesome bath oil to add some extra oomph to my bath. It made my skin extra soft and it smelled so great mixed with the bath bomb I used.
Mailchimp
I recently began an email list and biweekly newsletter (wow, nice, my second self-promo in this blog), and Mailchimp is an amazing service to work with. It's simple to use and easy to put together emails that look great.
What are your goals for February?
xoxo,
Rachel
