My Favorite Time Management Tips
Let's face it: sometimes the last thing you want to do is be productive. Or maybe your to do list is just too long and you don't know where to start. Learning how to best manage your time isn't an inherent skill; it's a learned one.
Here are some of my favorite tips to help you with time management!
1. Use to do lists/planners
What, me of all people talking about using a planner? Shocking. As obvious as it may seem, writing out what you have to do, as well as due dates and other important information, can make things a lot easier in the long run when you don't have to scratch your head and try to remember what you were supposed to work on.

2. Prioritize your deadlines
No matter what, it's important to ensure you're paying attention to your deadlines and staying on top of them. Make sure to take into account how much work each deadline is going to be; if you have an easier project due this week but one that's going to take a lot more work due next week, work on each appropriately.3. Target to be early
If you try to finish your work before the deadline, that will give you time to fix anything that may go wrong while you're preparing. For example, if you write out an essay and your computer crashes and only autosaves part of it, you won't be rushing to finish it if you're working ahead of schedule.4. Stay decluttered (when possible)
If your desk is way too messy, you may feel as if you're going insane. When you can, try to keep everything organized so you don't have to spend time on cleaning when you should be working on something else.5. Say no
I will admit it: I am a people-pleaser at heart. I don't like to let people down. But, for your own sanity and schedule, it's necessary to know what to say "no" to. If you have too much on your plate, you're never going to finish anything to the best of your abilities. What are some of your favorite time management tips?

Rachel
