A Day in My Life: 0L Edition

Although I am not in law school yet, a good chunk of my life right now has been focused on studying and applying, as well as typical activities like going to the gym or working. I'm so excited to show you all what a typical day looks like for me!

Just a quick reminder, I am taking a gap year right now while working a part-time job, so the time I spend on different activities may differ from someone who is still in college or has a full-time job.

Anyway, onto my day!

I like to start out my days with some yoga. Lately I've been following along to Yoga With Adrienne videos, and I'd definitely recommend her to anybody who's looking to kick start their yoga practice.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and my go-to lately has been cheerios, blueberries, raspberries, and vanilla almond milk.

Whenever I go to the gym, I always start out with cardio. My current favorite is a three-minute walk to warm up, 25 minutes of intervals (one-minute walk and 30-second break) at an 11-percent incline, and ending with a three-minute cool down.

Following cardio, I'll do weights, and what I do depends on the day. I usually switch between upper body and lower body every other day.

As much as it's kind of embarrassing to admit it, my sister and I get lunch at Panera Bread since it's on the way home from our gym. My go-to there is the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad and whatever soup sounds the best that day.

After showering when I get home from the gym, it's time to start studying. Today, studying for me is a preptest. I'm focusing on five-section preptests right now, so this will take me almost as much time as the real LSAT will (once you take away the 15-minute break and all the time spend filling out identification sheets).

Dinner for  me tonight is a delicious homemade burrito bowl. I've been trying to eat healthier lately, which is always hard because of my insane sweet tooth, but these bowls always satisfy me.

My nights always consist of extra studying, working on this blog, and spending time with my family. Depending on the day of the week, too, I may be at work in the morning or evening if I'm scheduled to host or serve.

Thanks for following along!

xoxo,

Rachel
